Sara Mogel – Chair

Sara had a lengthy career in vocational education and training working for a local authority, in colleges and for a national inspectorate of colleges.  Before retirement, she was the Principal and Chief Executive of a successful further education college with a £25 million turnover.  Enabling high-quality learning is her passion and it was this that drew her to MTT which has learning at its heart.  She currently undertakes education advisory work and is a Beacons Awards lead assessor. She is a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts and was awarded an O.B.E for services to vocational education in 2014.

Sara is a very experienced board member having sat on boards in the public, private and charity sectors including chairing some.  As well as chairing MTT Sara sits on three boards of the Pennaf Housing Group and chairs their joint consultative committee.

Sara lives in North Wales and is a football fan, a keen but unskilled gardener and practices tai chi, walks and swims in an attempt to keep fit.
