Rona joined the Mountain Training Trust board in November 2018 following her retirement from Sport England where she had been their Chief Operating Officer for 8 years.
Rona is an experienced financial and operational professional specialising in strategic delivery and developing organisations during periods of change.
Prior to her time at Sport England, Rona was European Finance Director for Sotheby’s and CFO of the Law Society and Ofcom all during significant periods of their development. Her early career involved a long period as CFO of a very successful international ship owner, operating in the oil and gas industries.
In her spare time, Rona plays tennis, golf and is a coffee and cakes cyclist.
